My PhD thesis assesses the impact of climate tipping points (specifically, the dieback of the Amazon rainforest and the collapse of the AMOC) on global biodiversity. Using historical and future climate projections in different scenarios along with species range data, I am investigating which facets of climate change will have the most effect across different taxa and regions. I plan to lead this towards high-resolution projections of extinction risk for specific focal ecosystems and species, and understand the scale of these threats. Outside of work, I’m passionate about birdwatching, quiz, and poetry (ask me about my project to write an ode to Montpellier’s Tram Line 1).
